This is a new feature we are offering to help further enhance the security of your Cathay eBanking access. Once you’ve enrolled your computer, your future online banking access from that computer will only require your User ID and Password.

| Q2: How do I enroll for Enhanced Login to protect my online banking access? |
Step 1: Simply click continue on the Enhanced Login prompt screen, or go to User Options => Enhanced Login
Step 2: On the Enhanced Login screen, select the first radio button to “Add”, and click on Submit.
Step 3: On the popup window, click OK. The Enhanced Login feature puts a cookie on your browser.
Step 4: A success screen displays informing you that you have successfully enrolled in Enhanced Login.

| Q3: Can I remove the Enhanced Login feature from a computer that I no longer use? |
Yes, simply follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go to User Options => Enhanced Login
Step 2: On the Enhanced Login screen, select the second radio button to “Remove” and click on Submit.
Step 3: On the popup window, click OK. Enhanced Login removes the cookie from your browser.
Step 4: A success screen displays informing you that you have successfully removed the Enhanced Login feature.

| Q4: Can I enroll more than one computer for Enhanced Login to secure my online banking access? |
Yes, you may enroll as many computers/browsers as you wish.

| Q5: Will I have to enroll every time I login to my online banking? |
No, once you have completed the Enhanced Login enrollment, your future online banking access from that computer will only require your User ID and Password.

| Q6: What if I use another computer which I have not enrolled for Enhanced Login? |
You will be prompted to answer the challenge question(s) in order to authenticate your online banking access. The challenge question(s) are the same as what you originally selected. To gain access to Cathay eBanking, your answers must be identical to the answers you originally provided.

| Q7: Once I have completed the Enhanced Login enrollment, do I have to re-enroll again? |
There are several reasons why you may need to re-enroll. They are:
• if you are using a different computer
• if you are using a different browser
• if you have manually cleared the “cookies”.
• if you have removed Enhanced Login from User Options

| Q8: How do I avoid having to answer the challenge question(s) the next time I login to my Cathay eBanking? |
Simply go to User Options => Enhanced Login to re-enroll the computer you frequently use to access Cathay eBanking.

| Q9: I often use a computer at the library to check my online banking account. Should I go ahead and enroll that computer so I don’t have to answer the challenge question(s) each time? |
We recommend that you do not enroll a public computer. In this situation, it is better to continue to answer the challenge question(s).

| Q10: I’ve accessed my account via Cathay eBanking from another computer, and it’s not asking me for my challenge question(s) as I expected. Why? |
If the Bank has reset your password since your last logon, it will remove the Enhanced Login security feature and you will need to re-enroll for Enhanced Login.

| Q11: I’m at a friend’s house and trying to get into my Cathay eBanking, and it’s asking me for an answer to my challenge question(s). However, I can’t remember it! How do I access Cathay eBanking now? |
Call our Customer Service Hotline at 1-888-228-4292 (CATHAY2) - they can
reset your access to provide you a one-time login. Once you gain access, go to “User Options” => Challenge
Question Setup to set up your challenge question(s) again. Once you’re back at your private computer, go to
User Options => Enhanced Login to re-enroll yourself in the security feature.
