Assist with employee training for safety and security programs and regulations. Perform quarterly inspections of all security-related equipment in each New York office and maintain accurate record of findings. Assist in the administration of the Bank’s Security and Business Continuity Programs. Midtown Location Only – Meets requirements to be certified by the City of New York to act as Fire/Safety Warden for the office and perform duties as required by the City of New York. Attached is a list of Fire/Safety Warden responsibilities. Assist Facilities Management Department with overseeing constructions projects, maintenance efforts and other tasks as may be necessary. Ensure that bank documents are maintained and sent to storage/retention per Bank policy. Perform monthly inspections of each New York office to determine deficiencies in the facilities and maintain accurate record of findings. Coordinate all maintenance and repairs pertaining to bank-owned facilities, i.e. electrical, plumbing, lighting, janitorial, general repairs, etc. Sort and deliver incoming mail to staff and prepare outgoing mail for pickup. Answer and route incoming phone calls; assist visitors to the correct bank department or employee for assistance. Keep informed of local and state changes as related to security, safety and facilities. Interpret materials and provide management with recommendations for compliance. Basic Requirements: College degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity. Good verbal and written communication skills, able to provide directions to others and communicate effectively. Ability and willingness to travel among bank locations. Ability to direct vendors and contractors on repairs and maintenance. Ability to analyze facts and exercise sound judgment in decision-making and the ability to set priorities. Ability to be physically active performing light to medium physical type of work, able to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees. Knowledgeable of the Bank’s security environment and requirements. Good knowledge of PC operations and effective use of software to include Word and Excel processing preferred. Bilingual Chinese preferred.
