Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals are met. Spends bulk of the day out in the field prospecting business opportunities and turns them over to the appropriate support personnel to finalize the details. Performs extensive cold-calling in the field and generates business through referrals within network and follows up on leads. Builds a thorough profile for each customer and maintains frequent personal, phone or e-mail contact in an effort to grow and penetrate existing customer relationships. Identify and profile target clients. Cross-sell bank products, refer existing and prospective customers to expand relationships and to develop new business. Provides superior customer service. Assume quality personalized customer service, maintains frequent customer contact to expand relationships and ensure customer retention. Refer clients to specialty departments as necessary. Support corporate lending new business promotions. Maintain open communication with Bank sales personnel, Financial Consultants, etc. Maintain an awareness of competitive products, practices, rates and changes in the local market. Represent the Bank to actively participate in China-related business functions and social activities. Basic Requirements: College degree with business classes preferred but not mandatory. 5 years' experience in a bank environment with minimum 2 years demonstrated sales experience with proven results in addressing diverse customer profiles and complex needs. Knowledgeable of banking products and services. The ability to identify client needs, presenting banking solutions and bank products. Recognize closing opportunities and retain and grow customer relationships. Ability to initiate customer contact through letters, e-mail, telephone or personal contact. Possess excellent verbal communication skills, as well as an ability to exercise sound independent judgment. Excellent presentation skills. Strong work ethics. Pro-active, innovative and driven. Possess excellent multi-tasking skills, working quickly and accurately to analyze information to make decisions as well as prioritize and perform a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction. Proficient in all Word and Excel software applications.
